The Institution Caminho da Luz celebrated the formation of one more class of Basic Computing course, which aims at the insertion of citizens in the digital universe, in order to develop knowledge and stimulate the participants better access to the job market.
A non-profit organization partner, Corpus encourages the participation of its collaborators in the project. In the last edition, drivers Edvaldo Alves de Souza, Arilson Julião, Márcio Luiz de Oliveira and the truck driver, Ezequiel Gomes Dionísio, completed the course.
The Path of Light develops professional activities and assistance to the population at social risk, in the neighborhood of Santa Marta and surroundings, in order to guarantee better life prospects, promote citizenship and social inclusion.
The Computing course is free and runs in two shifts with classes on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each classroom lasts on average one hour and a half, the room is air conditioned and only serves one student per computer.
The study grid covers topics such as internet searches, use of e-mails and social networks, communication applications, as well as the main features of editing and formatting text, editing and slideshow, and for creating and editing spreadsheets.
